For the past 3 years Alfred Ng has embarked on a personal voyage of rediscovery of his Chinese culture.  A part of this journey included the study of traditional Chinese watercolour techniques.  The impact has been tremendous.  Alfred’s precise realism has been met with a new found calm and looseness characteristic of classic Chinese brushwork.  Chinatown Gardens features beautifully lush flora saturated with symbolism and personal reflection.
